After having a couple of stressful weeks back at uni I must admit that blogging has taken a bit of a backseat and I've had nearly a month off! After participating in a #thegirlgang chat in what seems like forever and also coming across +Kate La Vies post on her May goals, I have finally become inspired to write a post on my own goals for this month.
1. Blog more
I haven't blogged for nearly a month and I've felt so guilty about it so I wan't to start getting back into my little routine and maybe start blogging once or twice a week (if I can hack it) I want to branch out with my blog posts and start writing more personal posts other than the generic review or haul. Maybe some fashion posts or summer looks?
2. Summer body crack down
I think I've left it a little too late to start working out and trying to achieve that 'summer body' but I've been eating really unhealthy lately and I'm seriously embarrassed about the amount of fast food I've eaten in the last two weeks. I bought all this expensive gym wear and running shoes to start working out but it hasn't left my wardrobe! I'm going to start looking at gyms and start jogging or something, all I know is that I need to start eating healthy and move more.
3. Make an effort
Ever since starting uni I've let myself go. I've put on weight and I hardly ever do my makeup anymore. I want to make more of an effort to get up in the morning and make myself pretty! I don't know about you but I'm 10x more confident when I have my face on. I also want to look after my skin! I've never really bought into skin care but after turning 19 I've noticed little things about my face that need a bit of TLC, if anybody has any recommendations on great skincare for oily skin please leave a comment down below and I'll definitely check them out.
4. Let things go
If you're a uni student then you will know that being around the same people all the time can lead to arguments and grudges. I am the girl that gets easily offended and the littlest things make me angry and I've come to realise that it's just unneeded stress! I just want to crack on and not take life so seriously.
I never normally set myself goals as I feel like I will never achieve them if I put a time frame on them, this will be interesting to see if I've done any of these things by the end of the month!

I am trying to work on my summer body since January and then I just get lazy 😅😅

I think lots of your goals link well together- when you exercise, you'll feel more happy and perhaps lead you to making more of an effort towards what you eat and how you look! I can't wait to start blogging properly again after my exams.

I definitely need to start working out a bit more, but honestly, I love food too much to restrict what I eat!

I really need to get a crack on with my summer body haha, I have this annoying habit of doing a workout and then rewarding myself with a large slice of cake or something equally as bad haha. Good luck with your goals!

I love reading about people's goals! And I always find that blogging about mine makes me more likely to stick with them :)
ReplyDeleteFab goals, hope they're going well for you ♥

These are great goals actually and if you can't make the gym why not do some home workouts? They're easy to do and you can still make use of your new fitness clothes :) x
