THE MUST HAVE MULTIPURPOSE PRODUCT : DURALINE

Do you know what I love? Multipurpose products! That might sound a bit sad to you that I have a bit of a fetish for things like this but I'm a makeup artist on a budget, I haven't got the money or the time to splash out on products that do one thing and one thing only. Let's be honest though, there's no stopping us beauty gals from purchasing all of the latest releases (am I right or am I right?)

Duraline has to be one of those products that I cannot live without, it's honestly perfect. It's a multipurpose product (obvs) that you can mix with any powdered product to make it into a liner or to simply intensify the pigmentation of your eyeshadows or creme liners! It also makes your makeup waterproof which is perfect for these hot summer days, there's nothing worse than when your eyeshadows go from defined and blended to perfection, to a hot oily brown mess.

I love to use this product in my foiled/glitter shadows as the Duraline just makes the pigment pop, you can even add a small drop of it into your brow pomades, cream shadows or even your mascaras to revive the pigmentation and save your products from becoming dry and unusable. I know a lot of you gals like to use fix + but it's practically over priced water and it doesn't really have the same staying power for your eyeshadows like Duraline, Duraline is only £8.00 so it's not breaking the bank whatsoever. I did worry about using it when I first got it because it does have an oily texture to it, I obviously have oily skin so my first thoughts were like 'Oil on oil? R U SURE BBZ'. However, it completely dries down to a barely there texture, I legit cannot feel it at all on my eyelids whatsoever which had me sold.

Pictures below show the same product, one without Duraline and one with Duraline.

I don't want to be that kind of blogger that speaks only great things about the product because that annoys me so much, there must be something dodgy about the product right?. I must say that I'm not a fan of the applicator, it's one of those dropper style bottles and not gonna lie guys, I'm not the best at portion control. I have a heavy hand and I probably end up using 10x more product than I actually need to, it's definitely one of those products that you need the tiniest bit of to have that impact you desire.

Please let me know of any other multipurpose products I should test out? I have the NYX Mixing Medium in my kit to try as well, but my Duraline has got me hooked!

What's your favourite product in your makeup bag right now?
