The Violet Voss Holy Grail Palette

Why hello there!
I think it's pretty obvious that I've had a little break... oops.

Some how during this little break of mine I seemed to have accumulated quite a lot of products and spent an awful lot of money, but it's all worth it in the end right? It's just money after all.
One of the things I picked up was from Violet Voss, I've known of this brand for years now as I think they started off with just a large range of glitters and these were raved about constantly on youtube. I had no idea that they had branched out into eyeshadows and liquid lipsticks so I couldn't really stop myself from giving them my bank details when I saw they were now being sold on Beauty Bay.

I picked up the Holy Grail palette as I had seen my idols Nicole Guerriero and Chrisspy rave about it and once I saw the colours I knew I just had to have it. The palette retails for £34.50 and I bought it from Beautybay, it's currently out of stock  on their website at the moment which sucks but hopefully it will be restocked very soon. It only took a few days to arrive and if you're a blogger you know the struggle I felt when I couldn't swatch it before I took my blog photos!
If I'm being honest I think this palette is amazing value for money, you get 24 eyeshadows for £34.50 which means that one of the shadows is only worth around £1.40.

The packaging itself reminds me of the nars packaging, it has that smooth sleek feeling to it. The palette also comes with a mirror which makes it great for doing your makeup on the go or bringing it along with you on your holidays. It has a magnetic close and it's very light so it's perfect for my overflowing makeup bag

I think it's pretty obvious from my swatches that this palette is extremely pigmented. The shadows themselves are so creamy and true to colour that's in the pan. Even the paler shades are extremely pigmented which surprised me as I feel Lighter shades in certain palettes are near enough translucent! My favourite shade out of them all has to be Cranberry Splash, I mean just look it at guys. The greatest thing about this palette is the names of the shadows, they're so unique and quirky and I think they suit the shades well.

I've been on the hunt for a warm toned palette for what seems like a lifetime but I found that the were way too popular and were forever sold out or the colours weren't quite what I was looking for but this palette genuinely has it all! (Apart from a black shade as I think it should be a law that every palette comes with one)
I really wanted to create a look with this palette and share it with you as I think the pictures just don't do the colours or the pigmentation any justice. I was going out to a works do and I wanted to create a bright and bold look, the best thing about it is that I only used 4 shades!

I hope you have enjoyed this review and the look I created from this palette as much as I enjoyed writing it. All of my opinions are genuine and I would never promote something I wasn't 100% about, this palette is amazing and I hope Violet Voss bring all their products to the UK very soon as I am dieing to get my hands on those lashes of hers! I am so happy to say that I am back to blogging and I never thought I would miss doing something so much! Blogging for me has been such a positive experience so far and I have so many ideas and products to show you so if you have any suggestions then please let me know in the comments.
